PMC is back!

Project Management Championship aka PMC-competition is once again here with new project case and new and amazing participants!

Registration for the PMC-competition 2023 is now open!

The International Project Management Championship is a global competition dedicated to students to take on each other's skills in project management in both a professional and fun way. Through the PMC, IPMA Young Crew develops young project professionals and actively promotes  project management to business and organizations at the global level.  

As always the competition consists of 3 rounds:


Registration and Qualification

Form a team of 3-4 students with a study related to project management and register HERE.

The online qualification test is open and will close on April 2nd The test consists of 100 questions in 100 minutes on the field of project management. The teams with the highest scores will participate in the National final.

National Final

The Finnish National Final will take place in two parts. Part 1 out of 2 is a virtual meeting of final teams and the competition jury on Friday 21th April afternoon. Part 2 out of 2 is an all-day on-site final day on Friday 5th May. Participating teams compete to solve a real case study and have the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the best experts in the field of project management.

International Final

The winning team of the Finnish National Final will represent Finland at the international final, which will take place in Valencia, Spain from 2nd to 3rd June.


Last year's winner Team, the A-team, came from Haaga-Helia UAS. They got the once to represent Finland in the international final in Germany. Read about their journey to the international final here.

The competitors from previous years have always enjoyed PMC and gained so much more project management experience and new friends. 

- Through the best of our efforts, exceptional communication and chemistry in the team, absurd amounts of caffeine and a deep understanding of the subject at hand, we have emerged victorious by a very thin margin! I am grateful for being able to call Krisztina and Janis my teammates, comments the last year's winning team's Péter Gerhát.
